Canada going to Gold for World Juniors

Canada wins the Semi Finals tonight against Switzerland. Canada will go to the gold medal game (and most likely win!). It was a pretty easy game for Canada I thought, but got ugly at the end when one of their players made a nice hit from behind. Nice enough to receive a 5 Minute Major. We'll see what happens. Until then... Go Canada Go! and Stay Happy!

Canadian Drinkers: Get Beer Deals

If you arn't smoking some green, you're probably drinking a couple pints with the boys. Myself being Canadian I know we can drink a lot of beer. Beer in Canada is a lot more expensive in Canada than it is in the US. That is probably because we have more alcohol percentage in our beers.

I know beer can get expensive. 40 bucks for a two-four usually, unless your drinking cheap beer. For those who want premium beers for less I have found a great site. My buddy actually told me about it on New Years Eve (I'm surprised I could remember). It's called BeerDeals.com It posts all the beers on sale in your province. Must be legal drinking age, but you can always get around the system.

NHL's Winter Classic a Success

In case you guys don't know, I'm a fan of sports (especially hockey!). Today the NHL had their 2010 Winter Classic at Fenway Field in Boston. The last two Winter Classics have been (not boring) but not really emotional I guess you could say. This one though, was great. Lots of hitting, lots of rushes, hell... we even had the first Winter Classic fight between Dan Carcillo and Shawn Thornton. I gotta give it up to the refs though who put their whistles away for the most part and let them play hockey.

The Dropkick Murphy's performed to kick things off, then a ceremonial puck drop with an American Troop, Bobby Orr and Bobby Clarke.

After a scoreless first period, Danny Syvret drew the first goal for Philly. Recchi then tied it up at 1 with a decent goal. The game ended up going to overtime with Marco Sturm netting the game winner. Fans were going nuts. Just a great game... wish I could of been there (with a joint in hand) and also wearing my Colton Orr Leafs jersey haha (yes, I'm a leafs fan)! Eminem Takes Some Shots on the Refill.

I'm a fan of all music, but rap is my music of choice when I'm "in the mood". Eminem recently dropped the Relapse Refill, basically a re-release of Relapse but with 7 bonus songs including "Forever" which he killed his verse on. Relapse Refill sold I think 127,000 units its first week I think I heard.

Anyways, we all know Eminem will take shots at just about anyone. On Elevator he created some controversy with his diss to Lance Bass, Clay Aiken and Adam Lambert. It is unknown whether he calls them "Fagots" or uses his play on words and says "Fake" then continues the next line with "Its". Put that together fast (fake-it's") and it sounds an awful lot like "fagots". Em is a lyrical genius and is known for his word play and subliminal shots.

The song "Drop a Bomb on Em" is pretty dope (I suggest you all listen to it if you have yet to). I was bumpin' that song all the time, but one day I was sitting at my computer after testing the new bong at the time and I really started to listen to the lyrics and figure out what it all means. And If you're a big Eminem fan you would know that an underground rapper named Haystak has been continuously dissing Em for publicity and even threatened Em with his Pit Bulls!

So Em being the genius he is, decided to diss him back... but subliminally. Check out the Lyrics below.

Now, for the big news. Lil Wayne has admitted to being addicted to Sedative Meds (Link: http://www.choosehelp.com/news/lil-wayne-admits-to-syrup-addiction.html) which includes cough syrup. In the same song by Eminem, I think he may be taking a shot at Weezy. Here is the lyrics...

"And to that boy on them Sedative Meds who said he was better, I bet he never seen Freddie in a Black and red little sweater."

I am new to this, and I am a bit baked. I'm just waiting for some water to boil so I can make some Kraft Dinner. I made this blog because I find when I'm baked I think of the weirdest things and like to discuss different topics. It's almost as if I become smarter. Over the days, I will be posting my thoughts and would love to get people to discuss or give their opinions on them. I will be talking about everything from Politics, Sports, Sex, even the human body. My fellow baked people out there who are like me when they are not with buddies will probably enjoy this and I hope to get some feedback eventually.
